Gallery Nine by Five is one of Fremantle's newest galleries. Situated opposite the train station and on the corner of Market Street and Elder Place it occupies a prime location at the gateway to the city.

The gallery takes its name from the defining exhibition of the Heidelberg School. Rather than influencing the choice of artwork exhibited at the gallery, the work of legendary artists such as Tom Roberts and Arthur Streeton serves to set a precedent for excellence and an unforced enjoyment of the medium.

Overseas markets are an area of expansion for us and we are working on forging strong links with existing contacts and elsewhere with the intention of offering artists opportunities to exhibit both at home and overseas.
