How to Buy Art

Once you have selected an artwork:

- Speak to one of our staff if you have questions regarding the work and/or the artist.

- A home viewing of one or more pieces can be arranged allowing you to see the work on your wall before making a final decision.

- If you would like to go ahead with a purchase the gallery will accept major credit cards including American Express, eftpos , cheques and travelers cheques .

- A lay-by option is also available although we may have to check with the artist first in some instances. A minimum deposit of 20% will be necessary in order to secure the sale with a frequent payment plan set up, you can collect the work once the final payment is received.

Exhibitions:

- Works are available for purchase once the exhibition has been set up.

- A red dot on a painting means it is sold.

- Half a red dot indicates that the painting is under offer and may be available if the buyer does not proceed with the purchase.

- The work is only available for collection once the exhibition has closed and full payment has been received. Some exceptions can be made.

Our advice:

- Follow your instincts and buy artwork that you genuinely like.

- You should take as much time as you need viewing the art, we welcome you to bring in a coffee from next door if you wish.

- When attending an opening night of an exhibition it is often beneficial to consider coming back within the following few days when you can view the work in a less crowded environment. This can be very important with large works that require some distance.

- You should always keep your receipt and certificate of authenticity in a safe place.
